Data Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven solutions. As a Data Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of complex data systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

  • Lead the development of big data architectures, including Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HDFS, and Kafka, to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, providing expertise to junior engineers on best practices and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive technical designs for scalable data infrastructure.
  • Design and implement ETL processes for integrating large datasets from various sources.
  • Document and share knowledge on architecture approaches, workflows, and best practices within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing big data architectures.
  • Hands-on expertise with Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Apache Spark, and Kafka.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented development principles and programming languages (Scala, Java).
  • Strong SQL skills with experience working with large data sets.
