Job Overview

A skilled Workday Functional Consultant is required to deliver complex solutions across client implementations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and prioritizing work, collaborating with the project team, and providing technical expertise in absence/time tracking/benefits/HCM/compensation/recruiting/talent and performance/payroll configurations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gather requirements from clients and define the scope of the project.
  • Design Workday solutions that meet the needs of clients.
  • Conduct sessions with clients to verify the required aspects of the concerned module.
  • Configure Workday based on the filled workbook.
  • Perform self-reviews and smoke testing of work delivered and review peer's work.
  • Assist clients with testing of the concerned functional module.
  • Provide production support for Workday solutions.
  • Assist with migration activities and production rollout of Workday solutions.
  • Take timely action to address stakeholder needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Excellent technical and functional skills across functional areas required for developing and delivering complex solutions.
  • Thorough knowledge of absence/time tracking/benefits/HCM/compensation/recruiting/talent and performance/payroll configurations.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience with Workday project lifecycle.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environment.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Eligibility
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Workday and overall 12 years' experience is minimum.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday and its various modules. They should be able to configure and customize Workday to meet the specific needs of clients.
