Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality front-end applications using modern web technologies.

As a Front-End Engineer, you will work closely with our development team to invent, design and build software that is stable and performant. You will be proficient in a broad range of design approaches and know when it is appropriate to use them (and when it is not). Your solutions will be pragmatic.

You will consider the legacy of the code you produce and write code that an engineer unfamiliar with the system can understand. You will limit the use of short-term workarounds and do things with the proper level of complexity the first time (or at least minimize incidental complexity).

As a team player, you will create flexible software without over-engineering. You will make appropriate trade-offs, re-use where possible, and be judicious about introducing dependencies. You will also be efficient with resource usage (e.g., system hardware, database, memory/CPU, etc.)

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development experience
  • 3+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
