About the Role

This Associate - Outsourced Accountant role oversees end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, and client relationship management, driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and process efficiency across multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of US GAAP accounting standards and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), journal entries, and payroll journals.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in line with client deadlines.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements, according to GAAP or relevant local accounting standards.
  • Execute regular bank reconciliations and process bank transactions.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting certifications, such as CA or CPA, highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in outsourced accounting roles.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting standards and methodologies.
