Job Title:

A Quality Assurance Automation Specialist is required to lead the design, development and execution of automated test scripts using advanced software tools.

The candidate will oversee the performance of Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) testing to validate data extraction, transformation and loading processes. Additionally, they will write and execute Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to validate data at the source, staging and target systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts using industry-standard software tools.
  • Oversee ETL testing to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation and loading processes.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity at various system levels.
  • Conduct User Interface (UI) testing to guarantee functional correctness of web applications.
  • Validate that data displayed in UI aligns with underlying database records (end-to-end).
  • Identify, analyze and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to automation frameworks and reusable components.
  • Maintain thorough test coverage, traceability and adherence to quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
  • Strong experience in leading Selenium WebDriver with Java projects.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.
  • Proficiency in writing effective SQL queries for data validation.
  • Experience in TestNG / JUnit frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), System Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
