Job Title: Senior React Native Developer

Job Summary:

iWork Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
  • Integrate native APIs and libraries to enhance app functionality and performance on Android and iOS.
  • Work with native modules when required for specific platform features.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth user experiences.
  • Maintain code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development.
  • Participate in the full app lifecycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to app stores.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in mobile development.
  • Strong proficiency in React Native and its core principles.
  • Solid understanding of native development for Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
  • Experience with integrating native APIs and third-party libraries into React Native applications.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
  • Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance optimization techniques for React Native and native apps.
  • Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks for React Native and native applications.
  • Understanding of mobile UX/UI design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of published apps
