Document Control and Distribution Specialist

This role involves managing documents, summarizing information, and distributing it to relevant teams. The Document Control and Distribution Specialist maintains up-to-date knowledge of company policies, including food safety programs and regulatory requirements. This includes adhering to procedures for handling and storing food-related items, as well as organizing and maintaining accurate records.

The specialist calculates inventory levels, conducts audits, and notifies managers of low stock. They also troubleshoot vendor issues, verify received inventory, and reconcile shipping invoices. Additionally, they monitor PAR levels, refuse damaged or unacceptable items, and assist with training, scheduling, and counseling employees.

This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as the specialist must prepare and review documents accurately and completely. They must also develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals. The specialist should be able to read and visually verify information in various formats, stand or walk for extended periods, and move objects weighing less than 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Supervisory experience: at least 1 year
