Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with expertise in designing, analyzing, and optimizing wind turbine generator foundations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to leverage their technical knowledge and skills to create efficient and safe WTG foundation designs using various techniques such as gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Optimization: Create efficient and safe WTG foundation designs by applying comprehensive analysis and optimization techniques.
  • Structural Load & Stress Calculations: Perform complex calculations for gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue loads to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Material Selection & Validation: Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability, considering factors like environmental impact and lifecycle costs.
  • Design Documentation: Prepare and review design basis reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Compliance & Certification: Ensure adherence to BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and other relevant standards, supporting certification processes with external agencies.
  • Collaboration & Risk Management: Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrology, BoP, electrical, and CTS teams to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to BD, procurement, EPC partners, and consultants, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) or Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 8–12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities sector, specifically in renewable energy foundations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software like STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D, and expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, civil design codes, etc.
