Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, models, and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to move data from multiple sources into data stores/warehouses.
  • Collaborate with teams to define data requirements, models, and metrics.
  • Manage and optimize data storage solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, validation, and governance across all pipelines.
  • Implement automation, monitoring, and alerting for data workflows.
  • Support business intelligence, dashboards, and analytics use cases.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in data engineering / backend development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL frameworks.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and schema design.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms or open-source alternatives.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver in a lean setup.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for building scalable systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Knowledge of real-time data processing.
  • Familiarity with BI tools.
