About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our production systems, working closely with engineers to develop solutions for customer-reported problems.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Solve complex technical issues through analytical skills and expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve customer escalations and improve overall product quality.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings to update the development team on ongoing escalation statuses.
- Develop tools and techniques to facilitate root cause analysis using available data and code base insights.
- Reduce time-to-resolve for product issues by addressing them promptly after RCA.
- Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
Required Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- At least 6 years of experience in technical product support, preferably in an escalations team.
- Experience as an L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues.
- Proficiency in software development using Java technologies.
- Good understanding of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
- Familiarity with Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
