Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Oracle Database Administrator. The position requires managing and maintaining Oracle databases across multiple environments.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and database security.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Oracle databases across multiple environments.
  • Extensive experience as an Oracle Database Administrator working on large to very large databases and in 24-7 systems.
  • Sense of Database Architecture.
  • Migrating databases across servers and platforms.
  • Expertise in Performance tuning, Database tuning, troubleshooting and database upgrades or Shell Scripting.
  • Performs installations, upgrades and patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring and configuration.
  • Monitors and ensures the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Oracle customer production databases, ensuring that the databases are available, performing properly and safe.
  • Good in Backup and Recovery skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts and architecture.
  • Experience in managing Multitenant architecture with CDB and PDB.
  • Proficiency in Oracle 19c.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization and patching.
  • Must have worked into Big File Table spaces.
  • Knowledge of any scripting Shell, Python or Bash.
  • Experience with backup and recovery operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Golden Gate is an added advantage.
Work Environment:
  • Shift timings 6PM to 3 AM , need to be available for extended work hours and stretch during weekends.
  • This is permanent work from home opportunity.
