About the Role

Athenahealth is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Manager to join the Marketing department. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Marketing's business intelligence assets through the governance of marketing datasets and properly communicating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake of reporting requests and questions, assess the prioritization of work by business impact, and coordinate the development of the work with stakeholders.
  • Manage the lifecycle of BI development projects from initial assessment to deployment in production.
  • Manage stakeholders on how dashboards should be utilized with in-depth knowledge of underlying data models.
  • Support the intake of stakeholder questions and ad-hoc data requests.
  • Contribute to building technical sources of truth in MOPS' Snowflake environment.
  • Support the overall BI workspace by debugging production issues and ensuring BI assets are operating properly.
  • Partner with team members in BI development projects and ensure data accuracy prior to stakeholder sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a data analytics and/or business intelligence developer role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions.
  • 3-5 years of PowerBI data visualization experience.
  • Proven experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Experience working and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing analytics KPIs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
