Big Data Systems Developer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer II to join our team. This role is crucial in designing and executing large-scale distributed data systems.

The ideal candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience in big data technologies, such as Apache Hadoop, and relational databases, including MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

  • Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including T-SQL, PL/SQL, SPARK-SQL, and HIVE-QL.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, focusing on Data Frames, Data Sets, RDDs, Spark SQL/PySpark/Scala APIs, and performance optimizations.
  • Understanding of Distributed Storage solutions like HDFS and S3.

This position requires strong analytical and quantitative skills, enabling the ability to work efficiently with massive datasets.

In addition to these primary requirements, we value experience with Message Queues (Apache Kafka), MPP systems (Redshift/Snowflake), and NoSQL storage solutions (MongoDB).
