Job Title: Senior Android Software Architect

Skillful and innovative senior software architect sought to spearhead the development of high-performance android applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of android platform technologies, strong passion for android as an ecosystem, and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the creation of robust and efficient android-based automotive infotainment systems.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest android platform technologies and trends.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Java or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of android core building blocks/app fundamentals and their lifecycles.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Ability to create engaging user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git, Gerrit, and GitHub.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex codebases.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Hands-on expertise in developing/customizing Android SystemUI.
  • Proactive ownership of self-progress and team delivery.
Additional Information:

The successful candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in advanced embedded system engineering. This position is based in Pune, India. A 15-year full-time education is required.
