About this Role

A key responsibility of the role is to execute test instructions and report discrepancies. The individual will also be responsible for delivering results on time.

  • Test Case Execution: Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on mobile platforms.
  • Defect Reporting: Raise defects for all failures observed and track doubts related to the execution of test instructions through predefined mechanisms.
  • Status Reporting: Provide individual status reports to stakeholders.
  • Asset Management: Responsible for security and maintenance of company assets, accessories, and devices allocated for daily operations.
  • Data Capture: Use standard tools for data capture.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Abide by regulatory processes defined for ensuring process compliance, confidentiality, and security.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement ideas.
Key Responsibilities

A key responsibility of the role is to execute test case instructions and report discrepancies. A successful candidate will also be responsible for delivering results on time.

  • Test Case Execution: Execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on Fire OS platform and Fire OS products.
  • Test Case Reporting: Perform test case execution and report bugs accurately.
  • Testing Procedures: Understand testing procedures and guidelines for new builds/releases.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression and repetitive testing exercises to qualify builds without compromising on quality.
  • Data Capture: Use software tools for data capture on a daily basis.
  • Communication: Be comfortable with capturing results, communicating, escalating failures, and providing individual status reports.
  • Fault Resolution: Raising all failures/doubts related to the execution of test cases in the clarification portal and closing the same as per the SLA's.
A Day in the Life

A typical day involves executing test cases, reporting bugs, understanding testing procedures, and performing regression testing.

  • Execute test cases prepared for testing Software builds on Fire OS platform and Fire OS products.
  • Perform test case execution and report bugs accurately.
  • Understand testing procedures and guidelines for new builds/releases.
  • Perform regression and repetitive testing exercises to qualify builds without compromising on quality.
  • Use software tools for data capture on a daily basis.
  • Be comfortable with capturing results, communicating, escalating failures, and providing individual status reports.

  • Test Case Execution: Perform test execution, report failures, be transparent, have good communication skills to interact with stakeholders, analyze and debug automation failures.
