Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to spearhead our data development and analytics initiatives.

This role will be responsible for architecting and optimizing data solutions across relational and non-relational databases, managing a cross-functional data team, and implementing scalable Business Intelligence frameworks.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for turning data into business value.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of relational and non-relational databases to support business needs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of database developers, data engineers, and BI professionals.
  • Design and implement scalable data models, ETL pipelines, and enterprise-level reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Administer database performance tuning, backup strategies, and implement security protocols.
  • Define and enforce standards for data governance, data quality, and security.
  • Implement and manage Business Intelligence tools.
  • Translate complex business needs into technical reporting solutions, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in data engineering, cloud databases, and analytics technologies.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in database development and management. At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing data or BI teams.

Technical Skills
  • Strong command of SQL, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools.
  • Proficient in ETL tools and data integration platforms.
  • Experience designing and maintaining data warehouse solutions and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience working with cloud services for data management and analytics.
  • Familiar with best practices in database security, backup, and disaster recovery.
