Senior Backend Engineer Position in a Regulated Financial Platform

\\\

Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in shaping the backend of a live, regulated financial platform. You will work on building and extending backend services using TypeScript/Node.js, writing transactional business logic for financial flows, designing and maintaining PostgreSQL schemas, integrating with third-party APIs securely, and improving existing systems for performance, reliability, and audit requirements.

  • Building and extending backend services using TypeScript/Node.js\\\
  • Writing transactional business logic for financial flows (e.g., onboarding, withdrawals)\\\
  • Designing and maintaining PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries\\\
  • Integrating with third-party APIs securely (OAuth2, JWT)\\\
  • Improving existing systems for performance, reliability, and audit requirements\\\
  • Collaborating via GitHub and CI/CD workflows\\\
    • \\\Requirements\\\

      • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in financial services\\\
      • Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills, productive from day one\\\
      • Hands-on with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns\\\
      • PostgreSQL experience, schema design, performance tuning, real-world queries\\\
      • Solid understanding of building secure, documented REST APIs\\\
      • Able to work independently and communicate clearly\\\

          • Experience with regulated systems (KYC, audit logs, compliance)\\\
          • AWS Cognito and broader infrastructure exposure\\\
