Job Title: Senior Developer and Architect

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer and Architect to lead our technology team. This role requires a strong background in software engineering, architecture, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement large-scale software systems using J2EE technology, Python, or equivalent OO paradigm.

  • Lead the development of complex projects, including Kafka, Elastic Search, Airflow, and NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Thrift, CI, and AWS.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.

  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technologies.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve our products and services.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.

  • 8-12 years of working experience with J2EE technology, Python, or equivalent OO paradigm.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Kafka, Elastic Search, Airflow, NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Thrift, CI, and AWS.

  • Experience with SQL languages.

  • Experience working with container-based solutions is a plus.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment.

  • Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

  • Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks.
