Principal Engineer

About Our Team
Your role will involve the development of new pavement strategies, rehabilitation initiatives, and technical advisory services for pavements.
You will work on a range of projects to enhance your professional skills and expertise.
As part of this position, you will also contribute to the preparation of bids and proposals, collaborate with clients and contractors, and be involved in multi-disciplinary project design teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualification is essential.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
- You must have extensive knowledge and understanding of pavement engineering and earthworks.
- Experience in providing and managing project design services, including pavement assessment (destructive and non-destructive methods), design of new pavements and rehabilitation of existing pavements (flexible mandatory, rigid advantageous).
- Expertise across highways, industrial, maritime and airfields sectors would be beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience in using pavement design software such as linear elastic pavement modelling and back-calculation software.
- Pavement management systems such as dTims would be preferred.
- Australian standards for pavement design would be preferred.
