Job Summary

The Collections Specialist will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the activities of the collections department. This includes managing agencies associated with the company in their assigned territory. The role bearer will ensure the efficiency and optimization of retrieving EMI from customers, while adhering to all guidelines laid out by the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and undertake collections process for debts assigned
  2. Regularly track portfolio for specific buckets, area-wise
  3. Track and control delinquency of the area, bucket-wise and DPD-wise, focusing on non-starters
  4. Allocate and achieve targets from agencies/in-house team
  5. Regularly follow up with default customers
  6. Ensure adherence to collection process and legal guidelines
  7. Trace out absconded default customers and initiate recovery process
  8. Recommend legal actions for non-recoverable cases and follow up with legal team for case closure
  9. Maintain data for administrative work related to collections, such as updating delinquent account history, providing and maintaining MIS reports, and reviewing collection feedback daily, weekly, and monthly

Qualifications

  • Graduation: Any graduation
  • Post-graduation: Any post-graduation

Experience

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in collections
