This role is for a compassionate Mental Health Advisor who will join our team in Bangalore and contribute to our growth journey. You will be responsible for assisting application user cases relating to abuse, mental health, and trauma on voice and non-voice channels on our platform.
Key Responsibilities:- To assist users experiencing distress, including assessing for safety, facilitating de-escalation, and coordinating appropriate referrals for further care if necessary.
- Conduct user assessments: Perform comprehensive evaluations of individuals' needs, including evaluating symptoms, identifying risk factors, and formulating customized plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients. This includes creating content that addresses mental health awareness and prevention strategies.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments, progress notes, and interventions in compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Stay informed about current developments in the field, participate in ongoing training and professional development activities, and pursue opportunities for growth as appropriate.
- Engage in outreach efforts to raise awareness about mental health and reduce stigma, advocating for the importance of holistic wellness.
- Master's Degree in Psychology or Counseling
- Preferred candidates specialized in counseling psychology
- Flexible to work in rotational shifts
- Maintain typing speed of 30-35 words per minute with 90% accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to empathize with individuals who have experienced abuse or injustice
