Job Opportunity in Optical Fibre and Data Cable Design

We are seeking an innovative professional with expertise in designing, developing, and testing optical fibre and data cables for aerospace and defence applications.

A high level of technical skill is required, including proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools. Experience working within the aerospace and defence industry is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced materials and technologies in cable design.

  • Perform simulations and analyses to predict performance, reliability, and durability of data cables.
  • Document technical specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and quality assurance teams.
  • Participate in project planning, milestone tracking, and risk management activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputable institution.
  • Proven experience in R&D within the aerospace, defence, or related high-tech industries.
  • Strong knowledge of data cable design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
