Big Data Platform Developer

As a Big Data Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new components of our big data platform. This includes owning the platform development process from inception to production deployment, including project scheduling, design, implementation, and coordination with other team members.

You will work closely with Product Management and Data Scientist teams to define and refine the big data platform, while achieving company product and business objectives. You will also collaborate with other technology teams and architects to define and develop cross-function technology stack interactions.

In addition, you will research and experiment with emerging technologies and tools related to big data, contribute to the big data open source ecosystem, and experience in scaling applications on big data platforms. Furthermore, you are responsible for ownership of the development of an entire module.

Required Skills:

  • Background of object-oriented software development methodologies and practices.
  • Expertise in Java Development.
  • Experience on at least 2 Big Data projects OR Last 2 years on Big Data Projects.
  • Exposure to Web Application Development.
