Merchandising Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Merchandising Coordinator to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our product lines.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in merchandising or production coordination.

  1. The successful candidate will work closely with designers and vendors to ensure accurate tech packs and design intent are shared.
  2. Coordinate sampling and approval processes to meet deadlines.
  3. Track raw materials to prevent delays.
  4. Maintain production calendars aligned with drop launches.
  5. Conduct quality checks during sampling and ensure bulk production meets approved samples.
  6. Report weekly progress to senior management.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in merchandising or production coordination.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
