A strong foundation in data science and engineering is crucial for this role. You will lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists to drive the development of artificial intelligence solutions.

 

  • Lead a team of Data Engineers, Analysts, and Data Scientists
  • Connect with internal/external stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to gather data artifacts, anecdotes, and hypotheses
  • Create project plans and sprints for milestones/deliverables
  • Spin virtual machines, create, and optimize clusters for Data Science workflows
  • Establish data pipelines to effectively ingest data
  • Assure data quality through proactive checks and resolve gaps
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and define performance metrics prior to running relevant ML/DL algorithms
  • Research existing solutions before building ML models
  • Create optimized data models to query relevant data efficiently
  • Run relevant ML/DL algorithms for business goal seeking
  • Optimize and validate these ML/DL models to scale
  • Develop light applications, simulators, and scenario builders to help business consume end outputs
  • Test codes pre-production for possible bugs and resolve them proactively
  • Integrate and operationalize models in client ecosystems
  • Document project artifacts and log failures/exceptions
  • Measure and articulate the impact of DS projects on business metrics and fine-tune workflow based on feedback

 

Requirements

 

  • Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as CS, statistics, applied mathematics, machine learning, or a related discipline
  • Strong programming skills in Python with knowledge of numerical and data analysis frameworks like NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Llama, T5, Falcon, Langchain, or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with the evolution of NLP, from traditional language models to modern large language models, including training data creation and setup
  • Ability to interpret research papers and architecture diagrams of language models
  • Knowledge of techniques like LORA, RAG, Instruct fine-tuning, Quantization, and experience with predictive modeling in Python
  • Applying various machine learning techniques and understanding key performance parameters
  • Building systems that capture and utilize large datasets to quantify performance via metrics or KPIs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with ongoing projects
