Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. You will work closely with development and QA teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated test scripts to ensure that software applications meet quality standards.
  • Identify and report defects using bug tracking tools, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that changes or updates do not introduce new issues.
  • Work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing clear and concise information about test results and defects.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize automated test suites to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in test plan and test case reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as an Automation Tester or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cucumber.
  • Experience in designing and developing automation test scripts using scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
