About the Role

This position involves the execution of purchasing strategies, organizing and controlling related activities, monitoring timely delivery of materials and spares procurement to ensure continuous plant operations by coordinating with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of cement-based raw materials
  • Preparation of techno-commercial comparisons, vendor negotiations, and vendor development
  • Coordination with central procurement cells and suppliers for continuous availability of spares, scrutiny, and classification of indents as local purchases or central procurement cell purchases
  • Analysis, physical verification, and disbursement of bills with lead time execution
  • Knowledge of SAP MM module
  • Preparation of management information systems (MIS) for monitoring and review
Requirements

Candidate should not be more than 29 years old

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) with a master's degree in business administration (MBA) or diploma in material management

Skills

Strong communication and negotiation skills, agility, data analytics skills

Estimated Salary Range

Rupees 8-12 lakhs per annum, based on experience and qualifications
