The Placement Manager is a crucial role in our organization, responsible for coordinating and managing all placement activities for students enrolled in online courses.
- This role involves building relationships with industry partners, organizing placement drives, and ensuring that students are well-prepared for job opportunities.
- Industry Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry professionals to create placement opportunities.
- Placement Drives: Organize and manage placement drives, career fairs, and recruitment events.
- Student Preparation: Provide career counselling and guidance to students, helping them to identify career goals and develop job search strategies.
- Data Management: Maintain a database of student placements, employer contacts, and job opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with course instructors to understand the curriculum and ensure it aligns with industry requirements.
- Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from employers on the performance of placed students and share it with the academic team to improve course content.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in placement coordination, career counselling, or a related field, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong network of industry contacts and experience in building partnerships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using career services management software and tools.
- Knowledge of current job market trends and hiring practices.
