As a seasoned ETL expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in database engineering, with expertise in writing complex SQL queries and performing data profiling.

You will be responsible for validating the extraction, transformation, and loading processes to confirm data accuracy and completeness during migrations or regular ETL runs.

A key responsibility will be to analyze source data to understand data structures, distributions, and anomalies to ensure data quality and readiness for processing.

  • Data Profiling: Identify and address data inconsistencies and discrepancies to ensure accurate data representation.
  • ETL/Data Migration Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate ETL workflows and data migrations.
  • Test Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective testing strategies for ETL workflows, data migrations, and reporting tools.
  • Report Testing: Validate the accuracy, completeness, and performance of reports generated from the data warehouse, including front-end dashboards and backend reporting systems.
  • Frontend & Backend Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of the Banker Dashboard interface and backend systems, ensuring consistent data flow and user experience.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and at least 3 years of experience as an ETL Tester, Data QA Analyst, or similar role.

Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex, optimized queries, stored procedures, etc.) is essential, as well as hands-on experience with data profiling, data validation, and data migration testing.

Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, etc.) is a plus, and experience with testing dashboard frontends and backend services is highly desirable.

Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is also required, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills are necessary to document issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This role requires someone who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
