Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.

He/She will work closely with our engineering team to identify and implement optimal solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain large-scale data warehouses using Snowflake.
  • Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to identify and implement optimal solutions.
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale by maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
Requirements
  • At least 7+ years of strong hands-on experience on SQL and Python.
  • At least 5+ years of experience working on Snowflake cloud platform.
  • Experience designing and developing data warehouses in Snowflake.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Orchestration Tools e.g. Airflow, Informatica, Automic.
  • Good understanding of metadata, audit logs, and data lineage.
  • Experience creating Table, Functions, Views, Stored Procedure codes.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience writing Shell scripting, JavaScript.
  • Able to demonstrate experience with software engineering practices including CI/CD, Jenkins.
  • Experience working with additional tools API, Postman, S3, FTP, Encryption.
  • Good understanding of version control and project management tools - Git, Confluence, and Jira.
