Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Client Virtualization professional to join our team in Bengaluru. This role requires expertise in Citrix administration and related technologies, with experience in managing large-scale virtualization environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Citrix Virtual Desktop and Apps using XenServer/VMWare, PVS (Provisioning Services), StoreFront, NetScaler, and Citrix Cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of the virtualized environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix-based issues while ensuring minimal service interruptions.
  • Administer and support MS Windows platforms used across the organization.
  • Plan and execute patch management and ensure SQL server patching and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with different teams for daily operations, scheduled activities, and proactive issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Citrix administration with 5-8 years in IT and a minimum of 3-5 years working with Citrix Virtualization technologies.
  • Expertise in Citrix Virtual Desktop and Apps management using XenServer/VMWare.
  • Knowledge and experience with Provisioning Services (PVS), StoreFront, NetScaler, and Citrix Cloud.
  • Experience with SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, SCOM, PowerShell, and other related tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in the virtual environment.
  • Experience in ITIL processes (incident, change, and problem management).
  • Familiarity with storage, networking concepts, and HPE Synergy Blade Servers is a plus.
  • MS SQL knowledge for database management.
  • Citrix certification in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to work in 24/7 support shifts based on operational requirements.
  • Customer-focused and a strong team player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
