About this role:

We are seeking a Digital Media Optimizer to join our team. As a key member of the online marketing team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with publishers, communicating with internal departments, and ensuring optimal ad requests and inventory settings.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organization, analytical, adaptable, and resourceful skills, as well as a grasp of finance and online advertising knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Publisher Management: Managing publisher profit/loss and providing recommendations for ad layouts to maximize yield and KPIs.
  • Communication: Communicating with publishers and internal departments to meet their needs and monetize their inventory.
  • Technical Q/A: Ensuring ad requests and inventory settings are optimal and working with developers on publisher releases.
  • Publisher On/Boarding: Working with SSPs to get sites whitelisted for programmatic monetization and enhancing yield with Pub Ops.
  • Yield Analysis: Monitoring yield based on demand source by inventory/product.
  • Optimization: Monitoring partner and publisher performance and revenue streams to optimize partner set-ups and increase revenue opportunities.
  • Ad Operations: Proficient in DFP and SSP system settings to ensure optimal yield setup, SSP block list, and flooring.
  • Reporting: Providing weekly KPIs, SSP reporting, block list reporting, and partner billing and reconciliation.
  • PMP Management: Working with buyers to create deals and optimize deals for best performance.
  • Data Analysis/Publisher Decks: Analyzing publisher and SSP data to report to Pub Dev and Programmatic Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have experience in online advertising/web analytics with a background in traffic analysis, account management, yield management, campaign management, publisher operations/development, ad operations, or data analytics. Additionally, they should be familiar with DFP ad server, SSP UI/Applications, header bidding ad tech, team management, relationship management, and BI tools for data manipulation such as SQL, Visual Tool, and data visualization platforms like Domo, Periscope, Looker, and Tableau.
