Key Responsibilities
  • Develop automation scripts using C# for GUI and API testing.
  • Adhere to coding standards and guidelines.
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications and web services in a client-server environment.
  • Be proactive in working on both manual and automation testing.
  • Have a strong understanding of web-based architecture and be able to debug any web or server error.
  • Understand functional, database, sanity, end-to-end integration, and regression testing independently while adhering to Agile methodologies.
  • Analyze script failures and logged bugs, and implement fixes.
  • Identify and track defects submitted through automation.
  • Escalate and follow up on blocking issues and deviations from SOPs in a timely manner.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and system test life cycle (STLC).

Technical Skills:

  • Strong background in automation testing.
  • Good experience with C# programming.
  • Familiarity with testing web services and Rest APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with service testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, Protractor, and Playwright.
