Job Description

As a senior software engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust, highly available, scalable and secure web services. You will be responsible for mentoring fellow engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, and solving complex or unchartered technical problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years technical experience within the financial services industry preferred
  • Strong experience in leading design and implementation of web services
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as React, Redux, GraphQL
  • Experience in building, deploying applications using CI & CD tools
  • Experience in cloud-based solution design, configuration and development experience with any Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in messaging or event driven systems
  • Experience with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Couchbase, Cassandra, AWS DynamoDB or other NoSQL technologies
  • Experience in Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with Source Control Tools - Github or BitBucket
  • Understanding of SDLC/Agile methodology and ability to apply them to software development
