Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our network infrastructure team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, maintain, and manage the equipment required to provide cloud network infrastructure.
  • Ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining SLA compliance.
  • Maintain, audit, review, and update infrastructure documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  • Oversee a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise as needed. Evaluate team member performance and provide feedback to the team and HR.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and trends to assess risks and business impact, and provide recommendations.
  • Develop, review, and deliver solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including proof of concept.

Requirements:

  • This role requires a balance of technical and managerial capabilities. The ideal candidate should have proven experience and hands-on technical expertise, with a keen eye for compliance with business SLAs and goals.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data center networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, load balancer, etc.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & routing technologies, security technologies, switching, QoS, network monitoring protocols & tools, and SDN technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • A motivated individual who is a self-starter, can demonstrate effective project management, and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Motivated learner – ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role.
