Cardiac Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Specialist to join our team in Kolkata. Our hospital is a 325-bedded, multi-specialty institution providing comprehensive medical services across major specialties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Expertise: Provide high-quality patient care, using evidence-based medicine to diagnose and manage complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Interventional Procedures: Perform interventional procedures such as coronary angioplasty and stent placement, pacemaker and device implantations, and emergency interventions for acute myocardial infarction.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including cardiology, radiology, and surgery.
• Education and Training: Participate in academic training, CMEs, and hospital quality improvement programs to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in cardiac care.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: MBBS from a recognized medical college, followed by MD (General Medicine) and DM (Cardiology) or equivalent DNB (Cardiology) from an NMC-recognized institute.
• Skills and Experience: Strong expertise in interventional cardiology procedures, extensive experience in Cath Lab operations and acute cardiac care management, strong diagnostic, analytical, and patient management skills.
• Personality Traits: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, ability to work effectively in high-pressure tertiary care hospital settings.
