Indirect Tax Professional

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with GST, VAT, CST, Entry Tax, and Entertainment Tax laws and regulations are strictly adhered to.
  2. Closure of Indirect Tax Assessments for VAT, CST, Entry Tax, and Entertainment Tax requires meticulous attention to detail.
  3. Active participation in GST audits and responses to Show Cause notices demands effective communication skills.
  4. Liaisoning with government departments, including Commercial Taxes and Entertainment Taxes, necessitates strong interpersonal skills.
  5. Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge on GST is essential for staying ahead in this field.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of accounting and taxation principles are required.
  • Effective liaisoning capabilities with government departments are crucial for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle is necessary for efficient task management.
