Roverco Apparel Company Pvt Ltd, a leading woven apparel export division, seeks a visionary leader to drive merchandising excellence. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality garments to the global market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic merchandising plans to achieve divisional objectives and sales targets.
- Establish and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality woven garments.
- Negotiate pricing agreements and monitor production costs to optimize profitability while maintaining product quality standards.
- Oversee raw material release and control for production.
- Authorize garment and fabric testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, design, fabrics, sourcing, quality control, shipping, and accounts, to ensure seamless processes.
- Coordinate with buyers on new order builds and assist in trade calendar planning.
- Maintain pricing alignment with brand and business guidelines for each country.
- Develop and optimize excel reporting structures and processes for efficient team execution.
- Plan production with factory and production managers to achieve T&A.
- Ensure buyer order requirements are met.
- Monitor production line reports daily.
- Provide shipping instructions and follow up on shipments.
- Foster strong vendor relationships, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and building long-term partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Merchandising, Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in merchandising, product development, or related roles within the woven industry.
- Proven track record of success in driving product innovation, managing supplier relationships, and achieving sales targets within the woven segment.
- Proficiency in software and tools, ERP systems, WFX, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior specific to the woven industry.
