We are seeking an exceptional Security Threat Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Security Operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical security controls to ensure the security and integrity of our infrastructure and product deployments.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of threat modelling and risk management frameworks, as well as expertise in security architecture and market-leading security tools. You will be responsible for analysing and improving our security architecture, evaluating and selecting new security tools and practices, and identifying and containing security threats and cyber attacks.

You will also contribute to open source threat intelligence initiatives, drive threat modelling and table top exercises across Engineering, IS and Canonical, and develop learning and development materials for our SecOps team. Additionally, you will work with our Security leadership to present information and influence change.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path.
  • Previous professional experience working or leading a Security Operation Center.
  • Deep personal motivation to be at the forefront of technology security.
  • Expertise in threat modelling and risk management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of security architecture and market-leading security tools.
