BIM Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to join our Ramboll Engineering Centre, a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence. As our new BIM Coordinator, you will be part of a world-class, innovation-driven engineering design Centre owned by an independent trust and its employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to digital requirements and follow our digital processes.
  • Coordinate with project members to achieve timely delivery.
  • Manage the project's digital requirements, including data and metadata coordination.
  • Work according to our Digital Delivery Plan (BIM Execution Plan).
  • Quality-assure our digital processes and ensure operational execution.
  • Assist the BIM strategist in driving the project forward with a focus on efficient information management.
  • Support the project's various discipline model coordinators.
  • Collaborate with project managers and control the exchange of information and deliverables.
  • Monitor digital information delivery and control, with a focus on metadata.
  • Provide answers to technical/data questions and communicate these answers to the project team.
  • Report skills and training needs to the Department Manager/Team Lead.

Requirements

For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • A BE/B.Tech degree in Engineering from an institute of repute or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Infrastructure/Transport markets.
  • Proficiency in one or more software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Infraworks NavisWorks.
  • Knowledge in shared project software e.g., Filery/Projectwise/ Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/Chaos/Server/Folder structure/Chaos Desktop and Client DMS.
  • Previous experience of data coordination for complex projects.
  • Good communication skills and ability to present work.
  • Team member with coordination skills and ability to work with project managers.
  • Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
