Job Title: Design Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Design Draftsman for residential projects. As a key member of our drafting department, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare precise drawings and technical drafts for projects using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
  • Conduct thorough area calculations to validate design data and layouts, ensuring compliance with industry norms.
  • Extract BOQ quantities and review tender BOQs with the cost manager to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide input for estimates, cost plans, and budgeting exercises, ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain organized records, version control, and digital documentation for design and cost documents.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering or Architectural Draftsmanship.
  • Minimum 8-15 years of experience in drafting, preferably in construction/real estate with exposure to costing functions.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, and basic Revit knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of building drawings, detailing, and construction practices.
  • Knowledge of IS codes for area calculations and cost-related drawing outputs.
  • Quick learner, team player, proactive, dependable, and strong time management skills.
