Software Applications Engineer

This role is responsible for providing support to larger and more complex applications/project areas. It involves performing build and deployment tasks, designing requirements, utilizing Git workflow commands, configuring Azure devops pipelines, scripting languages like Python and PowerShell, deploying QAT or UAT environments independently, and working closely with the testing team.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • As a Software Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of pre-production environments, such as development, test, QA, and staging environments.
  • You will work closely with other teams to understand existing and newly generated issues and work towards providing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports larger and more complex applications/project areas.
  • Performs build and deployment tasks.
  • Designs requirements.
  • Utilizes Git workflow commands.
  • Configures Azure devops pipelines.
  • Deploys QAT or UAT environments independently.
  • Works closely with the testing team.
  • Ensures the integrity of pre-production environments.
  • Participates in code reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
