Interior Design Associate Job Description

Our company is seeking an Interior Design Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Designer to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Shadow design discussions with clients and prepare Minutes of Meetings to ensure timely project delivery
  2. Assist in 3D designs using SpaceCraft and Sketchup, recommending enhancements and serving as a sounding board for the Senior Designer
  3. Participate in Site Visits, working alongside the Senior Designer, and manage files across tech systems
  4. Contribute to creating commercial proposals using SpaceCraft and other quoting tools, validating quotes to ensure transparent and fair estimates
  5. Cultivate relationships with stakeholders from sales, drawing QC, project management teams, and planners to guarantee excellent design outcomes
Mandatory Qualifications:
  1. Design education background (B.Arch, B.Des, M.Des, Diploma in Design)
  2. 0-1 year of experience in Interior Design / Architecture
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  4. Basic knowledge of Modular furniture
  5. Practical knowledge of SketchUp
  6. A great attitude and willingness to learn
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of design principles and concepts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Proficiency in utilizing SpaceCraft and Sketchup
  • Organizational and time-management skills to meet project deadlines
