Job Description

We are seeking an experienced automation engineer to join our QA team and contribute to delivering high-quality web applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in writing end-to-end test automation using Cypress, strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and a passion for creating robust, maintainable, and scalable test suites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automated Test Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for end-to-end and integration testing.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Test Maintenance and Debugging: Debug failed tests and report defects with clear documentation.
  • Test Coverage: Ensure test coverage for new features and regression testing.
  • Test Framework Updates: Maintain and update test frameworks and libraries as needed.
  • Code Review and Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and promote test automation best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Test Automation Experience: 3+ years of experience in test automation with Cypress.io.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Web Technologies: Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs, browser dev tools).
  • Source Control: Experience with source control tools like Git.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and collaboration skills.
