Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled cloud engineer to join our team. As a senior cloud engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, installing, and maintaining private and public cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience managing and maintaining a production Linux environment. Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible is required.

You should also have experience setting up and maintaining Hadoop Cluster and HBase infrastructure, including adding nodes, rebuilding, and backing up databases.

A strong understanding of the MEAN stack, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, and Linux Applications is essential. Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Ganglia, or Zenoss is also desirable.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, think analytically, and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, install, and maintain private and public cloud solutions.
  • Manage and maintain a production Linux environment.
  • Automate tasks and maintenance using tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Set up and maintain Hadoop Cluster and HBase infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and training to the IT team.
  • Analyze requirements and make recommendations for system administration tasks.
