Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our AccorHotel team. As a key member of our Banquet Department, you will be responsible for assisting the Banquet Manager and F&B Manager in supervising banquet operations and setting departmental strategies to achieve operational targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise banquet operations and ensure all food and beverages are set up and served according to company standards.
  • Assist in setting departmental strategies and goals to achieve operational targets.
  • Perform accurate reconciliation of daily cash controls and record working hours of each staff member.
  • Coordinate and manage all activities of food service operations, including inventory management and customer service.
  • Supervise the culinary operation team to provide a variety of food items to attract customers.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ensure all staff members follow protocols.
  • Organize and execute banquet events to ensure customer satisfaction and provide outstanding customer service.

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience in a Banquet Department (1 year minimum experience) managing all aspects of meeting spaces.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Requires open availability, with the ability to work all shifts, evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays.
