Visual Director Opportunity

Shape the visual identity of a dynamic media powerhouse. We're seeking a visionary Visual Director who thinks in storyboards, dreams in color systems, and treats AI as a co-designer.

You'll own our visual language across web, print, social, events, video, and emerging formats—and build the team, processes, and design culture that make it legendary.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and evolve the visual language for all properties.
  • Lead design everywhere, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Integrate creative AI by harnessing Gen-AI tools into concepting, style-frames, motion pre-viz, and rapid prototyping.
  • Partner with the video team to craft cinematic title cards, lower thirds, and data-driven infographics.
  • Create scalable design systems, asset libraries, and AI prompts that speed up quality, not compromise it.
  • Mentor & multiply by coaching graphic designers, motion artists, and freelancers; instill a culture of critique and craft.
  • Collaborate at altitude by working hand-in-hand with Editorial, Marketing, Events, and Product to ensure every touchpoint feels unmistakably yours.
  • Set the benchmark by ensuring every output is gold-standard—visually striking, strategically on-point, and on time.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 6–10 years leading multi-disciplinary design teams in media, digital publishing, or agency environments.
  • Core Tools: Adobe CC (Ps, Ai, Id, Ae), Figma; bonus points for Blender/C4D, Unreal, or 3-D prototyping apps.
  • AI Fluency: Proven use of Gen-AI image/video tools for ideation or production; ability to write, refine, and share effective prompt libraries.
  • Visual Mastery: Expert eye for typography, color, layout, motion, data-viz & brand systems.
  • Storytelling & Strategy: You see the narrative thread behind every pixel and can sell the concept in the boardroom.
