We are seeking an experienced Fabric Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh, India.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field and 4-6 years of experience in fabric sourcing and procurement. Strong knowledge of different fabrics, their properties, and applications is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Select and source fabrics for various projects based on company requirements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and maintain good relationships.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest textile industry trends.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure timely fabric delivery.
  • Manage fabric inventory and ensure stock availability for ongoing and future projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of fabric specifications, prices, and suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in fabric sourcing and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of different types of fabrics, their properties, and applications.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and certifications in the textile industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fabric inventory management software.
