As a seasoned merchandising professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy and ensuring seamless communication between buyers and internal teams. Your expertise in garment manufacturing, production timelines, and buyer communication will be instrumental in delivering top-notch products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between buyers and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Develop a deep understanding of buyer requirements, creating samples that meet their expectations and ensuring timely approvals.
  • Manage Time and Action (TNA) calendars for each order, streamlining the production process and minimizing delays.
  • Oversee raw material sourcing, production schedules, and quality parameters, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure trims and fabrics in a timely manner, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the process.
  • Monitor order status, production progress, and delivery timelines, taking proactive measures to avoid any potential bottlenecks.
  • Prepare costing sheets and negotiate prices with buyers and suppliers, driving cost savings and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to buyer inquiries and concerns.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and buyer expectations, making data-driven decisions to inform product development.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, ensuring transparency and compliance across all aspects of the business.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong understanding of garment manufacturing and production processes.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with buyers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with ERP/MIS systems.
  • Knowledge of fabric types, trims, washes, and garment construction, with a keen eye for detail.
