Residential Interior Design Professional

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2D designer with a strong background in AutoCAD and residential interior design. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing detailed 2D drawings and layouts for interior projects, working closely with the design and execution teams to bring concepts to life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD, preparing working drawings, furniture layouts, electrical layouts, and other technical drawings. They will also coordinate with interior designers and site teams to ensure design accuracy, revise drawings based on feedback from clients or senior designers, and ensure drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and regulations.

Additionally, they will assist in material specifications, BOQs, and project documentation, maintain proper filing and archiving of drawings and design records, and work effectively in a team environment.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in 2D drafting for residential interiors
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory
  • Knowledge of basic interior design principles and site coordination
  • Familiarity with residential interior standards and detailing
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred)
